Katsunobu Yaguchi, Deconstructive Drawing, 2013
HDV converted from super 8 film, black and white, soundless, duration; 59 min.

A day before demolition of Café Washingtown, after Kiyoharae, a purification ceremony, I began drawing on every component of the house including walls, floor surfaces, ceilings, and roof beams, while taking them to pieces. In doing so, I expressed a multitude of my emotions attached to the building.
